Letter from the Director

Thank you for your interest in our Family Medicine Residency program. For the past 100 years, Conway Regional has provided high-quality, compassionate health care to the communities we serve by offering innovative services, new specialists, and expanding access to care.

In our program, you will learn to practice Family Medicine in a changing health care climate while simultaneously enriching your abilities to make interpersonal connections with patients and their families. On your journey from graduated medical student to family physician, your growth will be exponential. At times, it will be joyful and at others it will test your limits. You will be encouraged, but you will also be challenged. Throughout the program, you will develop the necessary skills to practice independently as a caring, lifelong learning physician.

Our faculty are enthusiastically prepared to guide, encourage, and support you as you grow as a physician. Additionally, you will learn a tremendous amount from your patients and their families. During your time at Conway Regional, you will continue to learn about treating patients as individual people, not just treating a disease or condition. You will have unique opportunities to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families through your knowledge and care.

At Conway Regional, we have a unique and compassionate culture. We're more than just co-workers, we're family. We encourage and challenge each other, we work together as a team, and we strive to treat others as we would want to be treated. As Program Director, I am wholeheartedly committed to providing you with training experiences that will prepare you for a successful and enjoyable life as a Family Physician.

We would love to talk with you about all our health system has to offer.

Sincerely,

Sarah Robertson, MD
